My magazine would attract readers because of the colours used in it, they are bright and noticeable if ever anyone would walk past it in the shop.
The front cover is of the model giving eye contact whereas if the model was turning her left to the side, it wouldn't be as eye catching, the smile from the model also sets off a good vibe, this is what i want when putting the magazine on the market as it is more that someone will buy it.
The master-head of the cover is big saying 'Southfield Smile', i want people to see what it is about and who it is aimed at so this is why the selling line is under the Master-head.
Every student wants to have fun in school so this is why i have added it to the cover also to catch there attention.
- Format: I used a range of fonts yo make the cover look more attractive
- Formula: Art edition including facts for making school more interesting
- Frame: The page is split into 3, with the model covering 2/3 and the writing covering 1/3
- Function: To appeal to girl students year 7-11 interested in moving school and sixth form students boys and girls who are also interested.
My cover compares to other covers because its a running theme of the subject about schools and the colour theme also stays the same.
There is eye contact from the model to the readers like other magazines would.
When doing my music magazine i hope to make the cover lines more visible so that the readers know what it is about and understand clearly, i also hope to make the colours brighter and to suit the style of the writing more to the theme of the magazine.
