• The artist credits are usually big and bold because they are the main attraction.
• The artist picture usually takes up most of the page, probably around 1/3.
• They have put the 'Billlboard' title behind Beyonce's head as people know what the title is anyway, they wanted to show off the artist in on this magazine cover. 
• The cover lines show what the magazine is about and for this particular magazine, the colours work well with the background, however sometimes they are hard to read because of the colour font and the background colour, there are 7 cover lines which is decent for a normal magazine.
• This is good for both genders as a pretty women on the cover will attract both, also as Beyonce is looking forward, its more eye catching.
